Small companies
can use the OCSP responder to process their own certificate
status requests by chaining
their requests to a location of their choice and ensure by
the way that all responses concerning certificates issued by their
CA are chained to the correct responder.
OpenValidation.org
provides the possibility to validate certificates issued by most
common CAs via OCSP. An OCSP request could easily be sent
to our public Responder via Web interface
and it is described how to configure
Mozilla/Netscape browsers to enable OCSP validation via
Openvalidation.org.
As new service
OpenValidation.org provides additional trustworthiness
ratings for certificates validated from OpenValidation.org
OCSP service.
ValidationWorks
is a new OCSP client that enables applications like Microsoft
Outlook or Internet Explorer for automised status checking of
handled certificates. Additionally to OCSP certificate validation,
ValidationWorks supports trustworthiness information of verified
certificates. OpenValidation.org
supports ValidationWorks as default validation authority
and thus provides a free plattform for realtime certificate status
check to private users.
All
provided services of this site are completely free of charge and
