Add your CA / Responder to Openvalidation

Add your CA
Add your OCSP Responder


To add your CA to Openvalidation.org OCSP Responder service, it is neccessarry to provide following information and certificates.

CA certificate

Certificate your CA signs issued certificates.

CRL

CRL issued by your CA. CRL can be distributed via URL or LDAP directory (please inform www.OpenValidation.org team about detailed search path).

When providing this information, inform www.OpenValidation.org support team and give them the information where to find CA certificate and CRL. Your CA will be supported by OpenValidation.org as soon as possible, then. The OpenValidation.org support team will contact you.


To enable the OpenValidation.org OCSP responder service to chain requests directly to your own responder, you have to provide following information and certificates.

CA certificate

Certificates of CAs your OCSP responder supports.

OCSP Responder certificate

Certificate your OCSP responder signs responses.

OCSP Responder URL

URL to reach your responder.

When providing this information, inform www.OpenValidation.org support team and give them the information where to find CA certificates, OCSP responder certificates and the URL to reach your responder. Requests about status of certificates issued by CAs your responder answers for, will directly be chained to your OCSP responder as soon as possible, then. The OpenValidation.org support team will contact you.


Once you have registered, OpenValidation.org will also be able to answer all status requests concerning certificates issued by the added CAs or chain requests to your OCSP responder.

If you add an own responder you will be listed at public OCSP responders at Openvalidation.org.

If you don't want OpenValidation.org to provide OCSP service for your CA or chain requests to your responder, please inform support@openvalidation.org.
