OpenValidation supports ValidationWorks

ValidationWorks is the first OCSP client that supports trustworthiness information about certificates delivered by OpenValidation.org OCSP responder service. OpenValidation.org supports ValidationWorks as this OCSP client is free of charge for private users and therefore, OpenValidation and ValidationWorks build a completely free plattform for professional certificate validation.

ValidationWorks automises certificate validation via OCSP for applications like Microsoft Internet Explorer or Outlook and interacts with OpenValidation.org as central validation authority. With OpenValidations free OCSP responder service as pre-configured validation authority, ValidationWorks allows automised real-time certificate status checking. Additionally, ValidationWorks supports certificate trustworthiness rating delivered by OpenValidation.org and integrates this information in certificate status notification.

ValidationWorks and OpenValidations now provide a completely free plattform for certificate validation. ValidationWorks is pre-configured to interact with OpenValidation.org and therefore allows to check status of certificates from nearly 100 of most common CAs.

This cooperation provides a professional OCSP client and a central corresponding validation authority to private users completely free of charge and therefore allows private users a further step towards secure and trustworthy certificate use.
